Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted December 24, 2015 Please note: After a Hurtworld update comes out, Oxide needs to be manually updated. This could take several hours (although sometimes it is instantly ready after a Hurtworld update). We automatically pull from the Github files. The latest released version of Oxide for Hurtworld can be found here: https://github.com/OxideMod/Oxide.Hurtworld/releases When an update for Oxide is available from the Github link above, the following process you can use to update Oxide: From your Survival Servers control panel select "No Mod" from the mod drop down Click on the green Update & Restart button From the same panel, select "Oxide" again from the mod drop down Click on the green Update & Restart button This will completely reinstall Oxide with the latest Oxide files (overwriting the old .dlls and CSharpCompiler.exe)

Purifier 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2015 mrww001 i am assuming that you rent a server from survivalservers. That means you dont have to install Oxide yourself, the servers do that automaticly if you have the correct setting in the controlpanel. For the actual install and use of plugins (many plugins require permission or other settings done ingame) read the forum(s) and plugins info on the Oxide website itselff (www.oxidemod.org). If you still have problems it is also better to ask them on the oxide website, as for there are more people there (also from other server hosts and dedicated server admins etc). Makrow 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2016 This does NOT WORK, i follow the steps exactly , i can launch my server with no mods and have people join it fine, but then when i try to launch it with oxide it DOESNT work, it says my server is online on your website, but it isnt online in the game, this is freaking ridiculous, all i do is run into countless problems ever since i deicded to switch over to this hosting, my server has been down for hours now because i cannot find a fix, im losing players and most importantly my dedicated players cant acess the server. Please COME UP WITH A BETTER FIX THAN THIS because right now this isnt working. my server : KrownationFRESH1.28 /C4/ x5 / Kits / Events / Mods | SurvivalServers.com Game server id : 12549
Ryan Pennington 359 Report post Posted January 29, 2016 Hurtworld Oxide updated on our end. There's literally no way around this manual update method. During normal business hours I usual update it within an hour, if it takes me a little longer than then then please, do not rip out my throat. It's annoying, I get that, but Hurtworld and Oxide update all the time and the Oxide update has to be manually uploaded each time. Overlord 42 Report post Posted January 29, 2016 Is that the right version for Hurtworld? Hurtworld is at 2.0.1744 but it shows 2.0.1747 in the logs. I notice that Rust is at 2.0.1747 could we have the wrong oxide in the hurtworld servers?

I tried to make my self an admin on the server but still nothing is happening. Thanks, Michael.
