How to make taming easier?

I want to make it so i don't have to use that many tranq arrows to knock out the dinos. maybe bring it down to 1/4 of normal. how can i do that? i couldn't see a multiplier for torpor.. perhaps i missed it.

Using the find tool, search the webpage for "torpor". DinoClassResistanceMultipliers is what you are looking for and one would need to specify the dino class to adjust the value for. You could also increase the strength of that item as well. There are a couple of ways to go about it. You can also check for mods as well.

Awesome! Thank you. It seems that it would be easier to increase the potency of an item (say tranq arrows to cause more torpor ) than to change the dinos stat? How would i go about changing the item instead? Also - i'm not using the game.ini to change the settings since i am not very technical on that - any options allow me to still change the torpor without messing with the ini files? Actually an issue i am having at the moment is that once i knock a dino out, the torpor drops down so fast, to the point where i am unable to tame before it runs out, and that's after feeding multiple narcos

Hello, yes i have. The problem I am having now is that I can’t deal more than 1.5k torpor for some reason. Once that torpor bar fills up to 1.5k then it won’t go past that no matter how many tranq darts I shoot it with.
