Issues with adding mods

Hello, my first post here and I have issues with modding or specifically pbo packages. i have tried different mods, such as admin tools, fuel, repair and rearm and tow mods. I looked around and it said to use cpbo. I do so, run cpbo as admin and creates the context menu entries. backup files, unpack pbo file(s) repack pbo file(s) upload files via ftp. I am very specific on following instructions, no matter how hard I try my server always hangs at waiting for host. I check that I did indeed follow instructions and everything is the way it should be. And yet the server stops working. So my edits are being rejected, I am sure of it. Which leads me to the pbo packing process itself. I then tried pbo manager same thing.I can be way off course, so here I am. I am not new to modding (except dayz im very new :) or programming I have a few years under my belt. Which explains why I wasn't able to install infistar's anti-hack. That was sorted by a support, thank you!

Specs:

i72600K

16GB RAM

2xGTX760

Asrock extreme9

Windows 8.1 Pro

TIA

Figured it out myself :) I used the mission upload button this time and it worked :D is Using FTP is not a correct way?

That's the thing, i'm a bit confused too, i used both programs cpbo and program manager. And they both ended up with my server saying wait for host. So, again I did my changes, used PBO Manager and used the mission upload button and my server worked. Weird, I know I use flashfxp for all my ftp client needs. So, now that I have a way to do all of this no help is needed...yet

Thanks, oh and my antihack was already installed, I was thanking the support team.

Did you make sure the PBO properties are set for dayz_server.pbo?

Open the dayz_server.pbo with pbo manager and click the blue gear to go to pbo properties. Right click in the window and click add. Under Property put prefix and under Value put z\addons\dayz_server. Upload the files back and give that a try.

It was all due to PBO Manager, that all the problems came about. I did the properties deal and it was still a no go. Im working on the source code for cpbo and so far I now have 2 extract options, one for Extract PBO with GUI and just Extract PBO. Pack PBO no longer shows when right clicking on system icons(who really needs to pack the recycle bin?) These for now are merely registry entries. Hopefully cpbo+ will be out soon. Thanks for all the help, to me cpbo just works better.
