My ark ps4 server is not updating to the latest version and is unasseciable to people game server id:87461

Hello, myself and others on my server have been trying to log onto our Ark server, but it is stuck in a "Stopped" state and will not start. I have already submitted a ticket. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to switch my server to crystal Isles. I have been struggling with trying to get this to work for 3 days now. so any help is appreciated. firt of all, im not using the full conversion version, im only using the mods from my previous map, (Which are not exclusive to that map) so i dont have the mods for the crystal dragons or stuff like that that are marketed with the crystal isles map. Are these necessary? I have the map ID with the Modmap ID from the workshop page for the map. I also have that map in the mods section, at the front of the loader. Ive tried making alterations to this set up multiple times, removing the modmap ID from the mod section and the line in the launch parameters as well, ive tried updating, verifying and several other things and what it does every single time I try to open it on my computer, is it shows the mods loading on ark, then opens the slow going loading screen, and at right about the time it would connect, the entire game crashes to my desktop, then, reopens itself. When I tried connecting on my brothers PC it gives him the mod server mismatch. I feel like I tried everything, but im sure ive missed something really dumb. Please halp.

Hey everyone. I wanted to ask a quick question. I noticed on youtube that you could enable aberration dinos to spawn regularly on Ragnarok. I wanted to know if that was possible to do on ps4. I am not looking to spawn something right in front of me, but instead have them exist in the world as wild creatures that can be tamed. I saw this link, but I do not know how to program it in. Hello, so I was just wondering.. is there a way to make our server save more backups? And save the world more often? We are paranoid now with mods messing it up. We've had two occurrences that the server just freezes, says its still online then we have to go into it and restart it.. and every time we log back in the structures and all modded content is gone, even dinos. Only things that remain are vanilla tames and structures. We always have to do backups in order to get the server back on its feet, and today we had to do a backup from all the way at 7am when it went down around 9pm... We have 20 people playing on our server.. and we need help with this issue. Also, why is there no update notifiers??? LIKE HELLO? Our server goes down constantly for mod updates and not once does it warn people.. we have to do manual restarts all the time for them. Our player base really wants warnings.. Paying nearly 42 a month for a 50 slot server.. we expect more. All we've had are so many issues and barely any help. It's like tech support has just given up.

Since Aberration, the last 30 levels of the available player levels are reserved for Ascension. https://ark.gamepedia.com/Ascension Unfortunately, this affects users with a modified leveling system, be it with custom levels and/or engram setups. If a server has a maximum level cap of 115, a player will only be able to get to level 85 before undergoing Ascension. This can be corrected by increasing the maximum level cap as the last 30 levels will always be reserved. (Ex: Raising the level cap to level 130 will allow a player to undergo level 100 before Ascension) There are two ways to add maximum levels to correct this issue. One using the Modify Server Config tool and another involving directly modifying the Game.ini file, for those that are comfortable with it. For both of these examples, we will be adding 15 levels to get the maximum level cap to be 130. Modify Server Config Once opening up the MSC, click on Player Levels, shown in the image below, and then you will see the Player Levels Configuration option. Mark the button for Make Changes and a list will populate with the standard 1-115 level and engram data. To add a new level, click on the button indicated below. In this example, we will add 15 levels to mimic the leveling scheme available on Official servers. You will need to click this button 15 times, once for each level. Once done, scroll down the list and you will see something similar to this after Level 115. We will need to add data in place of "XP Required" and "Engrams Received", as these are only empty placeholders. Here is an example of data that I have added for levels 116, 117, and 118. We will need to continue this process all the way to level 130. Please note that the value in place of "XP Required" is the total number of experience points we need to have, not how much we need to gain between levels. For more information on the default experience required for ARK levels, please see this page: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Levels Once you are done, scroll down to the bottom and click on the "Save Configuration and Restart Game Server" button. Wait for the server to finish loading and then you should be good to go. Game.ini For Advanced users who want to directly edit their Game.ini file, you will need to connect to the server via FTP. If you need help with FTP access, please let us know and we'll help you out. First off, stop the server. This is very important as otherwise your changes will not be saved. There are two files provided in this response, one for the full leveling experience data for players for level 130 (ARK_Levels130.txt), and one specifically for levels 116 to level 130 (ARK_Levels116-130.txt). To begin, locate your Game.ini file located at /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/Game.ini. Find the first section that starts with "LevelExperienceRampOverrides=" This is the player data for leveling. The second section of "LevelExperienceRampOverrides=" is for dinos and we will ignore this. The data in here can be confusing; ExpereincePointsForLevel[0] actually references the first level you gain, which in this case, is level 2. So ExperiencePointsForLevel[3]=70, for example, means that you need a total of 70 experience points to be level 5. With that aside, we need to find level 115, show below. Now, open up the file labeled ARK_Levels116-130.txt. Copy the entire contents of that folder and then place your cursor shown in the image above, between the "8" and the ")". Now paste the contents of the file above. If you did it correctly, you will see something like this. Now this is the full default data for players up to level 130. Now, we need to add engrams. Scroll down until you find OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints=70. (70 = default) Now, each individual listing of OverridePlayerLevelEngramPoints refers to one level. To add the data for level 116 to 130 for engrams, you will need to add 15 more instances of OverridePlayerEngramPoints=X (X can be any number) Once done, save the file, close down the FTP connection, and then restart your game server. If the changes were successful, you will be able to view your work by clicking on the Game.ini button in the control panel and scrolling down to find the leveling data. Hello Fellow Arkians! I have had my server for a little over a week and I am starting to get repeated lag spikes that last 10- 30 secs with only 2 people in the server. We don't have a massive base and less than 20 tames. I was hoping that the lag spikes were being caused by the constant running of the server. I set up an automatic restart every day @ 12am. This seems to make them less frequent but it is still a recurring issue. Are there any other things that can assist with my lag spike issue? Thanks in advance! (Swamp Fever > Mega Rabies)

I have just started a PS4 server and I have yet to join it. I have someone checking to see if they can see it on the server list. They are not having any luck. The name of the server is RoR_Realm_of_Ragnarok The only symbol we saw on the server list is "_", so to play it safe that is what I stuck with. Is there a naming convention that needs to be followed? Is anyone able to pull it up? Thank you for your assistance!

I've scoured everywhere I can find looking for an answer to this question, so it may just be that it's a buggy feature that isn't working as intended yet, but I just have to see if anyone has gotten it to work here. Aberration naturally has foreign, non- aberration dino downloads disabled. Wildcard has released a GUS.ini argument for enabling it, as follows: ?CrossARKAllowForeignDinoDownloads=true My problem is that said argument does nothing. The foreign dino (a test dilo in this instance) shows up in the download section, but is greyed out. I am wanting to set up a progression, boss and dossier completion multimap run, and when the time comes to move from SE to AB, I will need to have this working. Has anyone managed to get this option to actually work ingame, or is it just a tossup for when it actually will work? Thanks for your time.

Would be nice to have a "special slot" in cpanel to easily save a map and settings as we rotate thru different ARK Maps but sometimes like to restore a map from few months ago and continue where we left off. Just an idea, would luv if possible ArkofWizzy

Most rates on the server is 20x, and hc stack makes it stack to 5k and also -90% in weight. Player and dino weight stats are increased so players can spend more points in health, stam etc to make PvP more fun. For raiders, i'd like people not to wipe other tribes and just take what you need from a raid. This way we can raid more and spend less time on rebuilding bases and more on making defence and gathering resources. Hello everyone, I host a cluster server that currently has minimal activity going on and I'm hoping to expand that some. There is a Discord channel that is also highly dedicated to this server but also available for talk outside of ARK as well.The server is slightly modded with Castles, Keeps, and Forts, ORP, Meat Spoiler, Stacks Only mod, S+, and the Super Spyglass. Here are basic modifiers with more details being on the Discord (it's a long list...) 8x taming 4x experience 4x resource gathering 4x spoilage timer (items last 4 times longer) 4x custom recipe effectiveness 12x breeding/egg hatching speed (subject to be decreased) Dinosaur experience curve flattened and can level up to 120 times as opposed to the normal current amount. This allows for more passive level-ups on non-combat, non-gathering creatures. Cave fliers allowed. All player stats per level are doubled. Engram point allocation greatly increased at higher levels to allow small tribes enough points to learn virtually everything. With SE engrams being applied on Ragnarok this amount may be increased further. Hello! I have a new server up and running. It is a 3x server except for hatching and raising that is 5x there is no offline raiding and there are a few mods to make the experience a bit harder. New server up and needing new players. Server will be PVE. looking to setup an RPG game style. Only 4 players so far but need more as everyone isn't always on at the same time. will upgrade slots as needed. server slightly boosted. main boost is player weight and dino weight which isn't insane... just makes it easier to gather materials. we will need tribes to establish thier towns. Will be establishing a heirarchy as tribes join. kingdom>empire>regional>tribal>solos thats the chain of command. will be later intriducing a community center where you can purchase dinos or trade dinos or items securely via in gae moderator such as admin. arena battles such as tame vs. tame or player vs player. will later establish kingdom rules, regions determine thier rules, tribe thiers etc. but can't override the chain above them. locals vote on thier own laws. and thier govering bodies thier own laws and so on. so in the end players decide what happens. NO ADMIN ABUSE!!!!! I am the ONLY admin and that i can promise. also no jerk will come on the server and just wipe everyones stuff out trying to be an outlaw. if that gets out of hand i will deal with it. Hello, my friends and I are planning to change our map to Aberration once it releases. We are pretty new to running our server, and we are worried that changing the map via the server control panel will erase our current Ragnarok save data. Do we need to rent an additional server or are we safe to switch maps freely without losing map data?

I'm trying to lower the cave damage on my Ragnarok server but even when i change Zone Structure Damage to 0 or 1, the structures in caves or near caves still take 6 times the damage. Please help me fix this.

Hi Team, Im trying to update my server to the latest version but it does not want to update. ive tried to use both the "Yes, Run Update" option and also the "Yes, Run Update/force" When i press the save and restart button at the bottom it shows a red loading bar for about 3 mins and then starts the server but it still shows the old verison? am i do anything wrong? i have also submitted a ticket just in case.

When configuring an ark survival evolved server, you can set launch parameters, but you cannot set all available launch parameters, so it would be greatly appreciated to have access to enable or disable all available ones. The specific parameter that i am wanting to use is: ?ShowFloatingDamageText.

I noticed that unlike Rust, the Survival Servers Control Panel does not have textbox area to add the Steam64 ID for the owners and admins. So how do I add the steam 64 IDs so the server recognizes the owners and admins in the Ark server? Thanks in advance.

Hello! The title pretty much explains it. I've added the admin command "ShowFloatingDamageText=true" to my GameUserSettings.ini with no luck. I've watched a few tutorials as well and they don't seem to apply to me, as I am running a server through a hosting service and not from my client itself. Thanks in advance!

Our Server has been completely stuffed... We have lost EVERYTHING, all our Dinos', all our resources, our base is now not even owned by us, our toons have started again... I logged in to be stuck inside of a stone foundation in MY Base, it was not owned by me anymore and I couldnt even destroy it. This has happened after the recent update 255. See below pic (right click-open in new tab) We have spent months breeding Ptera's, we have (had) babies born to lvl 254, awesome stats, some amazing colours inc. Ultra Bright Blue wings with Black bodies. Ultra Bright Green with Green/Black bodies. That is just a few and just the Ptera's. We have (had) also bred high lvl Blue Anylo's, Blue Deod's and Red/Black Argents, Red and Black 180+ Giga's. Lvl 200+ Quetz's etc etc the list goes on. We have invested on this Server alone, over 1000 hrs between 3-4 peeps. Its not the money we pay to have our Server hosted, its the time and work involved with selective breeding etc. I'm not blaming anyone for the loss, but I just dont understand how even our saves from before the update, that were fine before, are now corrupt. I have searched for an answer, even looking if this has happened to anyone else, but cant find anything at all... Are we the only ones? I am just posting this as I now see no hope to get anything back, very unhappy as I am now most likely going to close my account and shut down the server. This is mainly a warning to others....
