  1. Maybe. Our server was back online for a couple hours after being offline around 15 hours and now everyone got dropped and can't reconnect again.
  2. About 30m ago on Twitter Survival Servers ‏@SurvivalServers25 minutes agoMore We have about 60% of @ConanExiles game servers online and continuing to monitor performance. Next step, bring close to 100% online.
  3. I mean, I wouldn't say unforgiveable. I know they are hiring a Customer Service person, so maybe they are trying to get toward better comms. You could buy my forgiveness with a free month or something probably =). Although if this happens again (and from what I've heard they are generally not like this) I'd be out. But some gesture would be very wise from them to try to keep everyone from jumping ship. Right now they are just lining up to be one of the epic failures of hosting providers by not really focusing on that customer experience proactively.
  4. Yep. I've withheld my rants a few times. I'm in IT datacenter management and this lack of communication is really bad. The system failures suggest poor planning and design. The lack of meaningful communication is a failure in customer service. You can be insanely busy and still prioritize a stickied post for regular updates and reasonable Twitter updates that suggest some kind of progress is being made. I have a really hard time having any confidence in the infrastructure design and support abilities of this crew. They should be telling people that they'll offer an account credit for the trouble and sharing what kind of progress they are making (not just saying "we are overwhelmed" or "problems with a patch". Leaving a bunch of game admins hanging not only damages their reputation as a hosting provider but damages the admins reputation since they can't provide any meaningful updates to the gamers that play on their servers. Frustrating all around. Our server has been offline almost all of Sunday and today.
  5. I think they are only updating through Twitter now. Their latest is blaming the last CE expansion for performance, though I'd be curious to see how that explains the support site performance. And odd timing that the patch is to blame when they were having significant impacts (due to a power issue) prior to that.
  6. You wouldn't need to as urgently address those if the servers would come back online and people could play.
  7. My server was in unknown state, was eventually brought back online and then went back into unknown state for a couple hours. ticket 921427 server 33024
  8. Server status now showing Ready. Confirmed I could log in. Thanks!
  9. What is the datacenter infrastructure like? Are you running server clusters to spread load or do certain size rented servers run on dedicated hardware? Redundant power and battery backups?
  10. "power tripping" is a bit concerning from a host. Do you guys not have systems on redundant UPS or have backup power for situations like that? Are the physical servers only running a single power supply?
  11. Server unknown ID 33024 Ticket 921427
  12. Would be good to have access to where the the player files are saved so if a person is bugged we can delete their profile and have them rejoin.
  13. This... so much this. There's currently no way to verify the server version without doing a full shutdown, update and validate. It would helpful while troubleshooting with players to be able to quickly show they are on a different version. I would think there's a way for you guys to see the version number during an update, wouldn't you? Doesn't SteamCMD or something tell you the version it's downloading when you update? Maybe you could extract that during update and post it on the server status page as "last known version" or something. I imagine as the devs add RCON and more admin controls this will be more accessible. But whenever it's an option it would be good to have.
