  1. Actually, I was reading on an article just now elsewhere that adding the first person to the list will enable the whitelist and kick anyone 'off' the list (if anyone is online that isn't on it) is this how it works here as well? (Sorry if this is a commonly known thing, I've never used whitelists before)
  2. Thank you Luke! And yes, I do know about the file in the FTP; I think what I'm trying to say is--Im not really sure how whitelisting works? To give an example: - We do have a server password (this works) but Im trying to add another layer of protection as whitelisting. - Currently, if you have the password, you can enter it and get into the server (tested with my server co-owner) - Right now, I dont have any names in the whitelist file; but, how exactly do you 'lock' people that arent on the whitelist out of the server if they have the password? I do know there is a banlist, but what I'm looking for is a function where someone -has- to be whitelisted even if they know the server password, to get on the server. Hopefully this helps explain my question better!
  3. So, I'm a bit new to how whitelisting works--I understand there is a file in the FTP to edit to enter Steam ID's into--but, I have a friend who I'm working with the server on--after he had the password, he could get in--is there a way that whitelisting needs to be 'enabled' in a setting somewhere?
