GAME SERVER ID #16728 Status unknown.

#16728 has unknown status also.

The server name is called "Host name" in the control panel. Shut down, change name, restart. As for it showing up in the server browser, Mine took about 2 days to show up and has been listed ever since.

#6211 Still stuck on 228.1. Been trying everyday and it does NOT update.

I hate to say it, but I'm in total agreement. Over 18 hours and I still can't update. I wasn't able to update to 227 either. Put in a ticket because the server got stuck at loading, told to rollback. I did and it was updated magically. Had to do 3 rollbacks last night due to the same issue. No update. No players. Don't know why I'm still paying for this. Yet they keep having discounted specials. Where's our discount for all the hours of unusable servers. Oh, it's never SS's fault either. Always EA game, Steam or something the devs did. Sorry, not this time Ryan. No other hosts are having this issue.

18 hours. No update. Doesn't appear to be an issue with any other hosts. What's up here? Server is useless if it's not running the current version. Making a Twitter post isn't fixing anything. My server restarts in les than a minute when trying to update so I'm assuming it isn't even talking to Steam.

Yeah. No joy here with the update. I've tried multiple times, had to roll back twice. Same problem with the last update. Didn't have any issues like this until I moved my server location. Until 227, updates worked within 3 tries, usually on the first. :\ No ticket yet as I haven't given up but I'm close. lol 6211 if Ryan stumbles by.

I had to roll back to a previous save to get mine to work.

Edit: Completely didn't se the PVP in your post. Is that an option for PVP servers now? If so, just don't use the dino one I listed. If you can't make it work through the control panel (I've had issues with that), you can use ftp and add these two lines to your GameUserSettings.ini: PvEDinoDecayPeriodMultiplier=1.0 AutoDestroyOldStructuresMultiplier=1.0 Make sure the server is stopped before you modify any files or the change won't happen.

Make sure when you paste it, that the quotation marks are all there. Sometimes copying from a webpage loses them.

Keeping this going as the Tweet doesn't apply to the contol panel doing nothing. All custom settings gone and server config isn't working. Can't run a PVE server when it won't let you keep it PVE. Had zero issues until control panel was "fixed".

Yeah. Seems theres no actual connection to the server. I'm currently in game while contol panel says its updating the server.

Has major issues right now. Anyone else having it take forever and a day for the page to load only to have server status unknown but your server is running? Not able to stop or restart the server? Oh, new patch? No, not for my server. I get please wait for about 20 minutes, then server status unknown. Meanwhile, the server never shut down. This is not an EA issue and needs fixed.

Yep.Mine failed to update the first try. Now, it's been stuck on "Don't exit this page" for 45 minutes so far. 15 more minutes until ticket created for #6211. Edit: Figured I'd boot the game to be sure it's updated and my server shows as 219 in the browser yet control panel says it's still updating. Good times! lol

Thanks for the quick reply Ryan! I guess there's no way around an extra restart when they change something in the .ini. Good to know the tool will keep the settings though, that's likely a bit quicker than accessing and changing files through ftp.
