Overlord got a reaction from ThelmaDHoward in Need Tips I’m A Beginner
You need to place a TC (Tool Cupboard) and place the resources in it that are required to keep the base from decaying. It will tell you how long the base is protected from decaying to the amount of resources you added.

If you are running a Minecraft Bedrock server and need to be OPed put in a support ticket and they will get you fixed up.

Overlord got a reaction from summernovaa in Shorter nights
Click the Modify Server Config button on your control panel and scroll down and find
Day Cycle Speed 1
Night Cycle Speed 1
Lower the number for longer cycles and raise the number for shorter cycles.
example
Longer days put Day Cycle speed .5
Shorter nights put Night Cycle Speed 2
Adjust the settings for whatever speed you want by changing the multiplier. Also do not forget to save configuration.

Overlord got a reaction from Nick in How Do I access the serverDZ.cfg file
You are correct but Notepad++ is not required and i find it better to use when editing server files.

Overlord got a reaction from Nick in New Server. Instant Disconnect
How are you connecting to the server? If you connect through Valheim make sure the port is -1 of what it shows on the control panel. For instance if port is 2957 use 2956 to connect. If you are connecting through steam using the view/servers then use the port that is shown on the control panel.

Overlord reacted to Ryan Pennington in V+ update to 0.9.3, server and config panel not updated
This is not correct. All you have to do is restart your server to update.

Overlord got a reaction from VikingsArise in MOTD in Valheim server?
Not at the moment. Hopefully this will be something that Valheim will implement soon.

Overlord got a reaction from FiveSeveN- in Valheim+ -- enforceConfig setting is not present in the config (for both server and client)
That actually comes from nexus mod Valheim Plus page.

Overlord reacted to Ryan Pennington in Valheim+ Plus
Also to add a point of additional clarity we have yet to see what happens when Valheim is updated and how this mod will affect save data. So we're still at the very least waiting for the next server-side update to see what happens to servers that have heavily utilized the mod for server save assets and how that will impact on each update.

Overlord got a reaction from LowerDogma in server settings help
In console do server.writecfg and it will create a serverauto.cfg. I would make a copy of serverauto.cfg and change the name to server.cfg and add all the changes in that file.

Make sure you are looking in the correct filter. For instance if it is modded look under modded tab.

Overlord got a reaction from Nick in HELP! I have no idea how to make oxide work
For most plugins you edit the oxide/config/.json file associated with the plugin. After you make a change do oxide.reload plugin name in console.
Permissions are usually listed on the plugins page if any are required. Here is a link to using permissions.

Overlord got a reaction from Nick in Custom Map - Need Help
You will need to upload your .map file to Dropbox, create the link after it is uploaded, then copy the link. Click custom launch parameters on the control panel and type
+levelurl paste your link from dropbox
Change the 0 to a 1 at the end of the link then click save settings and restart game server button at the bottom of control panel.
Also are sure you have the oxide.ext.rustedit.dll installed in your Rustdedicated_data/managed folder on your server. This is always needed for custom rust maps.

Overlord reacted to Ryan Pennington in HELP! I have no idea how to make oxide work
You're in luck, I just finished an Oxide plugin installation guide:

Overlord got a reaction from Nick in Oxide not showing up
You need to pick oxide from the drop down section of mod in your control panel then click the save settings and restart game server button at the bottom of the control panel. This will install all of the oxide files and folders and you will be able to see them in ftp.

Overlord got a reaction from Ryan Pennington in Adding mods
You will have to add each individual mods. They can be added in one line by using the ;. In custom launch parameters use -mod=@mod. For example if you are using DayZPlus do -mod=@DayZPlus. It needs to match the folder name for the mod. For multiple mods use -mod=DayZPlus;@InventoryPlus;@Trader and so on.
Steven has a good tutorial here.

Overlord got a reaction from StealthyMartian in Editing PBO file?
https://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369
This is where you can get PBO Manager which will alllow you to extract the PBO so you can make changes then you can repack the PBO. I do not believe the mission files are pboed. The files you are looking for are in the mpmissions folder.

Overlord got a reaction from StealthyMartian in Was wondering how I can change somethings on my Server
You can change al of these settings in the ServerSettings.ini. On your control panel in the FTP Details you will see a button for ServerSettings.ini.
