How do I host a Duckside Server?

With SurvivalServers

Running your Duckside server is easy!

Running a Duckside server on your own is a bit more complicated.

System Requirements

~5GB of Diskspace

Installation

You will need SteamCMD.
Create an install.bat file. Inside of this file add following:
start "" steamcmd/steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir "C:\PATH\TO\WHERE\YOU\WANT\TO\INSTALL\SERVER\FILES" +app_update 2690320 validate +quit

Starting the Server

Create a launch.bat file inside the root directory of your server and add the following
C:\PATH\TO\YOUR\SERVER\Duckside\Binaries\Win64\DucksideServer-Win64-Shipping.exe -server -log -multihome=YOUR_IP -port=YOUR_PORT -queryport=YOUR_PORT+1
You will also need to forward the ports you've selected to use for your server on your router to enable users to connect!
Run the Launch.bat and your server should start booting!

Install supported mods / maps, switch locations, and change any setting with our easy one click form. Survival Servers is a Duckside dedicated game server provider with our custom panel. From there, join your Duckside server and play with your friends!
